Monenus has co-founded Waliif Industries and served as member of Board of Directors (Waliif SACCOS, Waliif Education, Waliif Transport, Waliif Construction, Waliif Trade and Industry & Waliif Agroindustry), a group of passionate university graduates came together to mobilize local resources and synergize it to scale up at Oromiyaa level in service sectors. Monenus is also working for international consulting firm as Ethiopia Associate Consultant in the areas of Ethiopian federalism and political affairs, local security and social risk assessments and managements. Moreover, Monenus has plenty of experiences in community-based researches focusing on federalism, development, conflict resolutions, hydro-politics, migration, and gender issues.
